Re: New Squat PR

As always, impressive. Your 1st two squats and deadlifts moved so clean and fast.

Strategically would there be any benefit in starting with your 2nd attempts to give you more wiggle room for your 3rd attempts? Keep in mind, you might have been so well prepared for the meet that you just made it look easy and there is nothing wrong with that.

Thanks everyone!

With the attempt selection strategy - I basically went with the 90%, 95% 100-105% strategy.

1st attepmt is just to get on the board and make sureI didn't bomb out. These are weights I could regularly hit for 3+ reps on any given day

2nd attempts were pretty much my gym PR's up to that date (with the exception of Bench - I hit 400 paused 3 weeks ago, which made my miss all the more frustrating). I used these as a gauge to decide what I was going to do on my 3rd.

3rd attempts were new PR's and I was unsure if I would get them.

Re: New Squat PR

Obviously you demonstrated why that is such a good strategy. You just made your openers and 2nd attempts look so clean in the dead and squat.

Great work.
