Hi folks!

Jamila here... Longtime reader and first time poster on the testimonials board.

I went to a function with a girlfriend who hasn't seen me since New Year's, and she noticed (UNPROMPTED) that my tummy is smaller, my legs aren't "dimply" anymore and that I look "really strong."

I also DLed a max of 255 for 5 reps. My hands nearly blistering made that the heaviest I could go... Next time though!

My rule of thumb is that for every person who gives you a compliment, 5 more are thinking it.

Sounds like 2006 has been good to you!!

Yaaaaay Ja-mi-la!

Email me about the iodine if you'd still like some...

My wife still can't get over watching me do L-pullups with my shirt off (blush). I second the "Go CrossFit!".

DL 255x5, Strong Work!

Keep up performances like that and get ready for more complements.

-on the subject of wives-

I still get compliments from friends and my body really hasn't changed much in the last year (I am pretty much right where I want to be). Nothing motivates me more than a new PR or a nice suprise compliment.

*BUT* the only comment from my wife is that I was getting too big (never any compliments). BTW I am 6'4" and about 195, it isn't like I have huge muscles. I guess I should just be happy that she likes me the way I was (no full 6pack required).

Jamila:
Sorry for the late response to your thread, I did not notice this last week.
Wow great work. It is always nice when people notice all your hard work. Especially after just a few short months.

“DLed a max of 255 for 5 reps.” That’s very impressive. Keep up the great work and more compliments will come. Summer is just around the corner and soon you will be breaking out in all the hot new summer fashions so you gotta step correct when wearing them. I was born and raised in DC and I still keep in touch with family & friends out there. So the next time I’m in town I’ll have to look you up if I get time.

You Go Girl!! Holla at ya lata.
