Grotts' Crossfit
I'm posting my workout log so that I can track my own progress and take any criticism that can help me to better myself. This is everything to date:
9/3/2009 “KB Happy” 21-15-9 rep each hand with 24kg KB for time Swing C&J Goblet Squat (both hands) (22:35; as rx’d) 9/4/2009 "Linda" 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 reps of the triplet: Deadlift: 1 1/2 body weight Bench press: body weight Clean: 3/4 body weight (27:52; 225#/ 155#/ 135#) Endurance: (Run: 30 minute easy run) 9/5/2009 "Karen" For time: 150 Wallball shots, 20 pound ball (12:44; as rx’d) 9/6/2009 WOD: 6 rounds for time of: Run 400 meters 25 Burpees Set up under a bar that is one foot above your reach for the burpees. Jump and touch the bar for each burpee rep. (27:47; 20 Burpees per round) 9/7/2009 WOD: "CrossFit Total" Back squat, 1 rep Shoulder Press, 1 rep Deadlift, 1 rep (BS:225#x3/ SP:125#/ DL:355# = 705 pts) Endurance: (Run: 5k, hills; 25:29) 9/8/2009 Rest Day Endurance: (Bike: 23 miles; 1:18:30) 9/9/2009 WOD: Four rounds for time of: 100 ft Walking lunge, carrying 30 pound dumbbells 24 inch Box Jump, 30 reps 30 pound Weighted pull-ups, 20 reps (Lunges with 20# DBs/ Box Jumps with 30” box/ PU unweighted kipping) 9/10/2009 WOD: Push Jerk 3-3-3-3-3 reps (135-159-159-159-165; as rx’d) 9/11/2009 Foundation 1: “Tabata Something Else” Complete 32 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest where the first 8 intervals are pull-ups, the second 8 are push-ups, the third 8 intervals are sit-ups, and finally, the last 8 intervals are squats. There is no rest between exercises. CFWU x2 WOD: Complete as many rounds as possible 20 minutes of: 95 pound Thruster, 5 reps 95 pound Hang Powercleans, 7 reps 95 pound Sumo Deadlift High-pull, 10 reps (7 rounds) This WOD had me sucking wind. I'm sure by about round three or four, my form began to deteriorate. -grotts- |

Today was a rest day, made it an active rest day with a 5K hill run, 12 minutes of heavy bag work, and two 30 foot rope climbs. |

WOD: Snatch 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 reps (135F-135-135-145F-145F-145F-145F (form sucked)) (52:35 moderate run) Really need to work on my technique. Got them all up, but had difficulties having my arms completely locked out, and/or catching it in the squat. 9/30/2009 "Helen" Three rounds for time: Run 400 meters 1 1/2 pood Kettlebell X 21 swings (or 55 pound dumbbell swing) 12 Pull-ups (12:27 as rx’d) |

WOD: “Dirty Dozen” For time: 25 Walking lunge steps 20 Pull-ups 50 Box jumps, 20 inch box 20 Double-unders 25 Ring dips 20 Knees to elbows 30 Kettlebell swings, 2 pood 30 Sit-ups 20 Hang squat cleans, 35 pound dumbells 25 Back extensions 30 Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball 3 Rope climb ascents (37:59; Subbed 1.5 pood KB for 2 pood (all I had), 30# Good Mornings for back extensions (no GHD), and 45# thrusters for Wall ball (no medicine ball)) OUCH!!!! |

Did four sets of 25 pushups afterward. |
