This might have been covered somewhere else in the site, but I was currious to know what everyone does when the WOD is 'REST'? Do you still lift, swim, martial arts, etc?

I usually do some ring work and/or various gymnastics holds and such. I work on handstands a lot too.

I use the day for rest and recovery. I try get 8 hours of sleep or more and to eat right. If I have skipped a WOD, then I may do it on that day.

Yeah, I fall into the "rest means rest" camp - although I'm getting to the stage where I might start throwing in some ring or handstand work.

If possible I take the day off and maybe do some swimming or sit in the spa.
But quite often I've got BJJ trainingon a rest day so I go to that and just try to work on my bottom game (ie lie on the floor and make the other guy work hard) |

Don,
I feel your pain. It always seems like my guys want to try to rip my head off when training grappling on my rest day. Since we almost always incorporate light/medium contact, focusing on the bottom game can get kind of painful. |

Once I get into WOD, I'll only do sport specific training on rest days, i.e. martial arts or soccer, whatever I have for that day if anything. But aside from stuff I've signed up for, all other exercise is at a halt for that day.
