Affiliation Process

I am looking to become an affiliate as soon as possible after completing and passing the level 1 certification course. Can anyone share with me the time frame invloved from the day the "application" is submitted, to the actual hanging of the Crossfit sign in the window. any info would be greatly appreciated.

Submit application -> wait 2 weeks -> get accepted (hopefully) -> provide proof of insurance, get website approved, pay affiliation fee -> wait 1-2 weeks -> listed on Affiliate page.

That's how it went for me last May-June.

That is the easy part. Finding/affording a location/equipment/supplies/etc and actually knowing how to run a business, program workouts and coach is the hard part.

For us it was about 4 months from... Ya, lets start an affiliate...to opening the doors for the first time. Finding a location was the biggest challenge for us.

Yeah took about 4 months to find a location. Once I found the location is was about a month and a half to get the lease signed, go through application process, build the place, put together a website etc. And this was all without any zoning issues or anything. I got lucky that the area was already zoned properly.

Zoning and build-out nonsense took me just over 3 months. Thankfully I was running my affiliate out of another location during that time.

Thanks for the responses, I just, and mean just, passed the level one cert at Trident Crossfit in Alexandria VA. Will be sending in my "application" tomorrow! Thanks again for you time! I know it's a valuable commodity.
