Front Squat 275 Good and 285 Miss

275: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Amik9T9yTAk

285: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyCOun6zDLc

Nice and fast out of the hole, couldn't extend at the top. Really felt like it was my torso more so than anything else holding me back, legs and hips were fine with the weight.

Full ROM wheel of death here I come...

I couldn't quite see it due to where the camera was, but it almost looks like you went up on your toes and pushed through them in your 285 attempt.

Could be, but I didn't get the feeling during the lift and I was wearing my Adistars. Maybe at the top of the grind when the knees shift forward? Moreso than anything else it felt like I couldn't push my torso through.

I'm a big fan of the Rehbands, much more comfort as opposed to supportive (like say the APT Convicts). They fit great and feel like a second skin after you start sweating a bit.

Re: Front Squat 275 Good and 285 Miss

With how much your knees shift forward near the top of your push the only thing I could come up with would be coming up on your toes. Hopefully someone more experienced will weigh in but thats really all I could make out.
