What rep range to use on front squats

I'm switching gears from Madcow 5x5 and for my new program I've decided to give front squats a try. I'm still thinking a lot like I'm still on Madcow as it was pretty effective for a while. I've only done front squats once and that was this past Thursday. For now I've decided on 4x5 ramp set and a 2x8 straight set with 30-45 seconds of rest. If you need to see the rest of my workout for a better idea of what might be a better fit then I can post it.

Reps and sets are determined by your overall fitness goal, not the exercise.

So, what are your goals?
