What event(s) would you like to see in the 2011 games?

I've searched a bit to see if this thread had already been covered, and haven't found anything yet.

I know this may be a premature as the games are not for another two and a bit months but it crossed my mind recently and I thought it could be interesting to see your perspectives on events that you would like to see in the future.

I'll start off: I would like to see some 100m sprints - whilst it may not test too many elements of fitness - absolute speed is important in my opinion.
Perhaps 4 rounds with sufficient gap between each run to recover, then a cumulative time over the 4 rounds to decide the leaderboard.

Also more strongman equipment, the sandbags was genius last year.

A tire flip event similar to the format of the deadlift in the 09 Games.

X amount of tires lined up next to each other, run the athletes through the gauntlet.

Why not just a straight-up 100m?

Sometimes I think Crossfitters and the Crossfit Games like to be different for the sake of being different. You can't compare Crossfitters do other athletes because the Crossfitters have decided to do something that's slightly different than what athletes do.

For example:

Instead of a max snatch event, they do a max snatch press-out event.
Instead of a max deadlift event, they do a deadlift ladder of ascending weight.
Instead of choosing a running distance that is frequently competed by runners, they choose a 7km trail run.

And outside of the games:
They measure their max box jump, not their vertical leap.
They measure their kipping pullups, not their strict pullups.
They do an "American" KB swing, rather than the safer Russian swing.

I'm not saying that an alternative to a traditional test isn't a good idea every once in awhile, but why does everything need to be that way?

Try a Crucifix with dumbbells or some other type of hold.

I would love more strongman events--like a carry and load (especially if they had to run through water to do it).

Seriously--one of the hardest things I've had to do.

A 400m all out sprint. No better event for relative anaerobic power over time. Plus I'm curious what some of these guys could put out.

Start with 3 bars, 2 squat stands and as many weights as you can shake a stick at.

10 Minutes to find a CF Total

2 minutes rest while the weights are set to 60% of each lift's highest completed lift then:

10 minute AMRAP of
1 back squat
1 deadlift
1 push press

2 birds with 1 stone.

Scoring would be interesting. How do you weight the strength portion to keep people from sandbagging to make the metcon portion easier?

Although, that could be where the "unknown and unknowable" part comes in. You don't tell people about the metcon portion until after they've finished the strength piece.

How would you score it? Who wins out of 9 rounds at 650lbs vs 10 rounds at 600lbs?

Also, what if there was events that people don't typically train for? Such as a swim or one arm pullups or reverse double unders?
