Favorite Workout Music?

We use Pandora for our workout music most of the time, which is usually pretty good. How do you all decide what to listen to (and do you get any say in the matter)?

I need to start trying to insert some decent metal into the lineup...

Re: Favorite Workout Music?

If you're going with Pandora, a Tool or Deftones channel isn't a bad way to go.

I agree wholeheartedly!

We just usually end up listening to pop rock or nu-metal. Not that there's anything inherently wrong with that...

Re: Favorite Workout Music?

Besides this thread being done a bagillion times, for good metal to workout to, you cant go wrong with old school thrash i.e. Alcohollica (old Metallica), Overkill, Slayer, Sepultura, Sarcofago, Vio-lence, Kreator, Destruction, Sodom etc.

Or just throw on some K. Log. Nothing like busting ur *** while u listen to footloose.

I swear, man. I tried the search. After the first 4 pages of nothing relevant, I had to make a new topic. Maybe if there was a way to make the search not suck?

Re: Favorite Workout Music?

I don't like hip hop when I'm working out.. Unless it's NWA or some of 2pac's harder, grittier stuff...

I've got to have rock.. it doesn't have to be metal.. it could be punk or even nu-metal, metal-core, 80's hair band rock, whatever..

As long as it's not some sissy stuff like fallout boy or blink 182.

oddly enough, Sade's "Paradise" works well for me during a WoD

Re: Favorite Workout Music?

Clutch, Korn, Metallica, and Staind are my favorites. Maybe a bit of Danzig as well.

Re: Favorite Workout Music?

I listen pretty much exclusively to metal and hardcore while working out. My favorite Pandora stations are Recon, Gojira, Throwdown, Killwhitneydead etc...
