Any Systema practitioners out there?
Good website at
www.russianmartialart.com
for those who might not be familiar with it.

I don't know if you know him or not, but you actually have a top Systema teacher down in your neck of the woods, Sonny Puzikas.

Bill, Sonny is a friend of mine; I have trained with him and he is a deadly man.
Also have been to Vladimir's blade workshop, and have traned with Jim King.
The few months I spent in Systema radically altered my outlook and methods of training.
Glad to hear from you Bill, are you a current practitioner?

Frank,

No I am not currently training in the System. I went to several seminars a few years ago in Charlotte, NC that included Sonny and Vlad as well as some others.

Bill, same here, I trained with them for about six months, after training in other martial arts for over 25 years.
They made a lasting change on how I view martial arts/defense training.
Have you read Vladimir's latest book, "Let Every Breath..."?, about Systema breathing.
Sonny doesn't live to far from me, and I still see him from time to time.
Glad he's on our side!

Yeah, after spending a day shooting AK-47s in the woods of NC I would have to agree.
