Squat Form Check

This was my last set of squats (6X5) and I know it's poor.

Squats (FWS)

Thanks.

Weightlifting shoes would help. Keep working on the squat; it looks fine but you just look tired. You are clearly a lifter who doesn't accept any excuses, so just keep up the good work.

Thanks Andrew. I'll try to get more of a side view to see if my knees are tracking over my toes or not.

You need to fully extend your hips at the top. It looks from the video that you are bent over from the start.

There is a slight butt-wink at the bottom. There is some good information online about how to correct that.

I am bent over. I feel that if I try to stand up more erect, that bar will roll off my back. Not that it's a big deal but, I don't really care to reset everything.

I have a local power lifter that's going to help me out on getting better. I also purchased a Manta Ray. I hope that will allow me to stand more erect and be able to squat better.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Re: Squat Form Check

I ordered a Manta Ray (WFS) to help with my squats. Below is a rear/side view and a side view. These are 205lbs squats.

Rear-Side Squats (WFS)

Side Squats (WFS)

I know I'm standing up more erect and I haven't really watched the videos, minus a few seconds to see my butt still winking.

Be honest and thanks.

Thanks. I'm meeting a power lifter to night and bringing my MantaRay with me. He's going to help me tweak my squat and my dead lift too.

I'll see about getting video.
