Fuelled by fairydust?

08.11.09

Height:5'2 Weight:50kg

My first log

The idea for me is to do a max effort black box strength program, whilst scaling the wods weight right down so i can power through them instead of struggling very slowly. So monday, wednesday and friday are strength days, still following the crossfit wods.

"filthy fifty" Scaled pull ups to bodyrows, burpees without the pressup (did power snatches and push ups yesterday, ouch) and push press with empty 7.5kg bar=

Fuelled by fairydust?

09.11.09

Deadlifts

3-3-3-1-1-1

I was hoping for ( a little ambitious) 70, 75, 77.5, 80, 82.5, 85kg

My pb (about 1 month ago) was 82.5kg, progress hasn't been smooth due to colds getting in the way and have been struggling to get to 80kg recently.
Today i felt like i was losing my back on the 77.5 kg and failed the third rep. I got the 80, then moved the 82.5 about an inch and got stuck so did the 80 again, brain drain! Slightly dissapointed but i think i'll get it next time

11.11.09

Shoulder press

3-3-3-1-1-1

15kg-17.5-20-22.5-25-27.5

got to the gym about 8pm, very late for me

red means fail, i normally can lift 25kg fine, although it is my limit and has been for a while, today 22.5 felt really heavy. i blame having to work and only getting half an hours lunch break i'll just have to eat more eggs and try again

Damn the pitfalls of having to work think i'll have to steal your alarm clock so you can get the extra shuteye.

They hurt everyones arms, puny or not. I hurt from it.

Good work on it, it looks like your scale was right on track if you feel it like you do.
