I thought I was thin.. but..
In the last month I've gone from what I though was thin to leaner. I'm 5'10" around 170 (I don't have a scale at home). My pant size.. was ~33. I thought 33 was skinny enough. Well, eating a semi-zone with some focus on paleo (not strict by any means), along with CrossFit + some CFE, I've lost at least an inch around the waist. My pants no longer fit too well. They are baggy enough that they look a little strange because while I can wear a belt they are a bit loose in the backside.
Its odd, looking in the mirror I don't notice much of a difference, but the clothes tell the story. |

I put some jeans on Sunday to go to the cinema, I looked like one of these bloody gangster kids wearing them that low my boxers show!!! haha

Strangely enough, yes my waist is smaller. However, my buttocks have gotten bigger. . . so I am effectively wearing the same size pants/shorts just to get it over my butt, but now the waist is loose.
A buddy of mine has a 29in waist but wears a 34in pant because of this same phenomena (he doesn't XFit, but he played college ball). |

Larry that's odd. Its common for people who are fit to have big strong thighs though which makes it hard to find pants that fit well. Some people end up going custom.
