Re: Hey, we're all geniuses.

Nice article Brandon. I have often felt that there was a direct correlation between lack of exercise and brain deterioration. This just further proves what many of us already speculated on.

Hmmm, I wonder if they will let me put a giant running wheel in my cubicle. Using that while eating a chocolate bar should significantly increase my productivity.

Scientists have suspected for decades that exercise, particularly regular aerobic exercise, can affect the brain.

Re: Hey, we're all geniuses.

I once had a HS track Coach (also the AP physics teacher, go figure) who used to say in order to maximize your mental potential you have to maximize your physical potential as well. I would suspect (from the level of intelligent discussion in the forums) the opposite holds true as well.

Re: Hey, we're all geniuses.

The intelligent discussion also comes from the fact that everyone who is here wants the best fitness possible. We're not here for feel-good work sessions, and anything that does not help our goals is thrown out of an airplane. We don't shy away from the truth, we embrace it, however mentally or physically painful it may be.
