attaching pull up rig to cement block walls

We have a Rogue pull up rack which is awesome - right now it's stand-alone - but soon moving to a new space - and want to attach it to cement block walls.

has anyone done this and if so, any special considerations ??

We did and went all the way through the blocks and secured on the other side. Up over a year now with no problems.

Sometimes you can get lucky and hit solid filled block. In that case a concrete anchor would work well. If its hollow you can use epoxy screens or do what Bobbie Sage said.

Re: attaching pull up rig to cement block walls

We have a 50' Infinity rig, we just bolted it right in to the concrete block with epoxy and it has been fine for 3 years. A lot of the blocks are hollow which I was nervous about but we haven't a single one budge. I have seen a lot of affiliates put a 2 x 10 bolted along the wall and then secure the rig to that. That is probably more secure but we put all our arms at different heights along the wall so that wouldn't have worked that well for us.
