What percent of humidity will cause plates and a bar to rust?

I want to move all my equipment (rack, bar, iron plates) into my garage, but am quite afraid of it rusting. I put a humidity detector in my garage earlier today, so in a couple days ill check back and post the reading of humidity. Does anyone have any idea what percent of humidity would cause the equipment to rust?

I live in TN where the humidity is so thick sometimes you could almost cut the air and haven't had any problems in my garage in the past three years.

Just something I forgot to mention: There is no ventilation in my garage, and no insulation either. its just a concrete wall.

Are you in that situation?

yep, stuff rusts. if you are really worried wipe it all down with a *light* coating of machine oil once a month or so.

Operated an affiliate out of a concrete garage for a little over two years. Only rust was on equipment that the finishes had chipped off.

Also in the south, estimated humidity for nine months of the year was likely 30-90%. Also hot as balls.

Concrete walls, no insulation. I eventually got an "attic gable fan" that will turn on to suck out some of the hot air when it gets >90 in there. I turn the fan on and open the garage door while I work out when it is hot. The walls and ceiling don't exactly meet and there have been times that I was working out and snow was blowing through the cracks and onto everything. Also sometimes when it rains really hard for a few days in a row the entire floor is nice and wet. It isn't anywhere close to an optimal environment and I don't have any rust, yet. I've worked out in there when it was 18F and also 97F. 18 is much better in my opinion.
