Crossfit gyms in NH?

Does anyone know of any crossfit "compatible" locations in NH? There looks to be one at the WCWC in Manchester but when I called for info no one knew anything about it. Unfortunately I live in an apartment so my workout ability at my current location is limited.

Thanks,
Dave

Re: Crossfit gyms in NH?

There are a few of us in Southern NH but everyone works out from their home gym or at work. Two of us are in Londonderry and another in Windham and one in Merrimack. We are all in our 40's and have families. Two work out primarily at their office gym in Andover, Ma and the other two at home.

During the weekdays, my workouts are usually at night but on the weekends, there are often 2 or 3 of us getting together. The more the merrier, feel free to get in touch.

Re: Crossfit gyms in NH?

Search for "New Hampshire" in the "In Search of CrossFitters" section. There are a few threads there. I train at Gold's in Manchester, and a small, old-school local gym in Tilton. They're both cool about letting me bring all my own stuff in.

The NH CrossFit affiliate appears to be dead.

Melissa,
What is the name of the gym in Tilton? My in-laws summer in Lincoln and when I go up there I end up working out at the Loon MT health club, which isn't bad but isn't super fantastic either, and it's expensive for a day pass. Thanks, Bob

I train at Tilton Barbell and Fitness on Main Street. It's old school, their equipment isn't new and shiny and there are no fancy machines. So it's pretty much perfect. Plus they let me bring in all my own stuff. They have a squat rack and a few spots for pull-ups, a nice deadlift area and even a giant tire that they flip in the summer out in the parking lot. And their day fee is a whopping $5.

Their hours are limited on Saturday and they're not open on Sunday. Only drawback. If you ever train in the area, hit me up and I'll come meet you.

Thanks,
That sounds perfect. The only downside to the snowbird life involving northern New England is the absense of bases I can work out for free in, $5 is close enough.
