I'm going to attempt Linda next week. I weigh 220 so m yweights will look like this.
165 clean
220 bench
330 deadlift

Is this doable for a muggle or should I wait to do it till later. Either way, I'll be doing it at Diablo CrossFit in Walnut Creek so I'll be supervised. Thoughts?

I don't know; how long have you been training, are you familiar and competent with the lifts, are these weights you can handle at those reps (no idea from your post how experienced you are). There are a lot of factors. No matter how you slice it it is tough. Have fun.

I've been doing crossfit for around 4 months. I'm very proficient at the bench, I'm not worried about that at all. Deadlift, I don't do so much. Clean, I may have to practice at a lighter weight but over all I feel pretty good about it. The main reason why I want to train these lifts is because of my friends negative attitude toward Crossfit. He says it's a 'great cardio workout' but he wants strength and size. Well, I'll show him strength. He soes a lot of "isolation" moves but he's all show and no go for the most part. The only athletic prowess he does have is a carry over from his high school track days. I plan to beat the hell out of him with this workout. But I want to be able to complete it first.
'cardio'. He has no Idea what he's in for. He hasn't seen cardio yet.
