Watching the Glute-Ham videos recently i thought i would expand my garage gym by adding this piece of equipment.

however i cant seem to find anywhere in the UK that sells anything similar to the videos on crossfit. I was hoping someone could point me to a website or store that sells them.

Simon, try the york factory store in Daventry. Don't have a link but should be easy to find with google. Be advised though that these things are quite big, very heavy and pretty expensive too. If you don't have any joy, drop another line here and I should be able to hook you up with another option.

By the way if you ever travel further north into Geordie-land make sure you drop by for a workout.

Cheers, kempie

how come everything in the UK is about 6 times as expensive!

£703! the one listed on here for the US people [the yukon] is £90. The york one certainly does look high end but i dont think i can justify £700 not with how much the rest of my garage setup has set me back.

does anyone know of any cheaper options?

thanks for that info chris, im going to make a few calls tomorow to see if i can source a more mid priced product.

I dont mind spending upto £300 on it so there must be something of equal quaility in the UK around that price point

I think you can get a powerline one over here for about £100. looks a bit flimsy like but might do the trick.

Oh, by the way - there is a chap who I spoke to on ebay looking to offload a heap of weight lifting stuff. He is offloading it for his brother who is unable to use it due to an accident. He wanted £500 for the lot when I spoke to him direct (it was on ebay for offers over £1k) but that included an Eleiko Bar and 20k bumpers + a whole heap of other stuff.

Give me a shout if you want more info.

The guy was based in Bradford.

Simon,
He didn't have a GHD but had loads of weights etc. I will PM you both with the detail and you can decide what you want to do.
The reason I put it here was due to the UK nature of this post (there aint many!).
