40+ Consecutive Pullups

After about six months stuck at a 32-rep PR, I banged out 41 on the public pullup bars by the Esplanade yesterday. I'm thinking 50 by the Pittsburgh Cert...

Sammy PR'd too, getting 24 reps in. Whoohoo!

Best,

Jon

Re: 40+ Consecutive Pullups

Jon,
Wow! Thats awsome. Good luck reaching 50. I really have a hard time with these. My best is 26 probably only 2 more than I can do without kipping. I live in Rockland MA. and havent been able to make it upto any of the crossfit gyms in boston yet. I should try to make it one of these days I really need some help with my kipping.

Re: 40+ Consecutive Pullups

I just tried pullups today for reps. Only got eleven. I was up to twenty one time (deadhang) but I threw out the endurance in favor of strength training. I do have a 75 and probably more now lb weighted chin up, though. Still, I should be able to revive my previous endurance with some GTG.

Good job, Jon!
