My garage gym

My 1st post

About 2 years ago I decided I was tired of not being able to gain weight (lucky I know). 30yrs old at 6ft and 135lb soaking wet things needed to change. I started lifting at a gym and did some cardio (hate dreadmills or elipticals). I was able to gain 20lbs which I was happy with.

During this time I played in an Alumni football game and partially torn my left ACL. I decided to live with the pain and continued to workout. I was able to do squats, deadlift, etc without any problems.

I got tired of the same gym routine and decided to give crossfit a try. I did my 1st WOD July 2012 and fell in love with it. In December I decided to bite the bullet and have my knee fixed. I got depressed about week 3 after surgery since I couldn't do anything. I am now 4 months post surgery and starting to be able to do some oly lifts again and light jogging. Lost 12lbs since surgery. So I invested in equipment for the garage gym to help me rehab. So here is the list.

Rogue ES1 echo squat stand
Men's Bomba bar
Womens Bomba bar. ...got the wife to start crossfit with me
260lbs bumpers from Fringe Sports
26lb,35lb kettlebells (still building the collection)
Built my own 20x24x30 jump boxes
Rings
Built own pullup bar out of 1in. Galvanized pipe
Stall mats

Working on getting tractor tires and still wanting a concept 2 rower.

I got it all set up this last week. My wife and I have completed 3 WOD's so far. I am so happy to be getting back into it.
