Hi Ariff:

Couple of thoughts?

1) Calling your audience ignorant in your opening lines is NOT traditionally a good way to make friends . . . maybe it works in Malaysia?

2) Yeah, you're a LONG way from most of us, but you might give us some credit for knowing where you are. You at the University there?

There are a couple of folks CrossFitting in Singapore (I know, 200 miles south), but that's the best I can offer. Search the boards for "Singapore", you'll see who was posting.

Ariff,

I don't think anyone's skin is that thin that they were insulted by your comment. You might feel like you're on you're own out there but so do everyone of us when we're getting the weird stares in the gym. Take pride in being different and make your own club. After doing CF for 8 months on my own I know have 3 converts who work out with me and motivate me several times a week for the last couple of months.

sorry if you're taking my words seriously. maybe it sounds bad but it wasnt my intention to degrade or call people ignorant. My apologies.

Singapore is too far away from my place (and it costs an arm to just go into S'pore these days too!).

If you can't find one it sounds like it is time to start one there

Good luck on your quest.

I think he was just joking and really being selfdisparaging.

You might want to lighten up a bit.

The embarassing thing is that most Americans know very little about countries outside the USA, and that is a fact.

Safe link

Malaysia looks to be about the size of New Mexico, and with Singapore hanging off the end there, ROAD TRIP!

Mike,

I am personally insulted by your generalization and stereotype. I know where they all are, except hawaii!

Yes, I feel your pain I had to look up where Montana is, I hope I can remember the name of all 50 states.
