DanO- the problem is definatly NOT hanging out in fern bars... Not really a bar gal, they don't like it when you pack in a gun LMAO. Now I sound like a bush mama.... hahha SO NOT TRUE!!!
I am always on the go and am pretty hard to catch, (I guess, I have been single for 10 years)
Law enforcement hey? I took one RCMP friend on a hike and had to turn back after four hours...he was done!!! Never went hiking with me again.
None the less thanks for the compliment. It is good to know that there are men out there that appreciate women like me. (though you keep yourself hidden)

cheers,
Sheila

Sheila, your "Pickup" reference made me remember an old pickup line:

"Honey, you look finer than a new set of snow tires!"

Bet you've heard that once or twice . . .

Hey Don,

I bought those for my husband too - but got myself a pair at the same time.

Fun stuff.

Sheila,

I like your quote. I am from the "If you build it they will come" school of relationships in that I think people who develop themselves and their character may scare off some people, but will attract the right people. Any smart, fit, outgoing and well-armed woman will intimidate the wankers of this world, but that's good. I see it in my work - some of the women in my job complain that their "dates" are intimidated because they are usually armed and do things the men only dream about while watching COPS in their skivvies late at night. I tell them not to change and to keep looking.

I am blessed. WHen I proposed to my wife 18 years ago and gave her a diamond, she reciprocated with an Over/Under bird gun. I never looked back...

Hey, nice rack. This is the Costco setup from Ivanko. The dumbells have a center hard rubber ring about an inch across that rotates and two much smaller (1/4 inch or so) rings outside that that also rotate that allow your hand to spin just a bit as you lift the bell in much the same way an Olympic bar does. I've never seen that in a dumbbell before and it is a very nice feature. Very nice dumbbells and a nice solid rack. Chandra even pointed out the Softride stationary bikes that were near the front entrance of Costco saying, "Hey, did ya see those? They're pretty nice." I have a wife 20 years my junior who was a champion runner in high school and college who keeps her eye out for new equipment for my gym. I think there are some lucky stars somewhere I need to go count.

That's a cool looking stand as well. I've never seen rotating hex db's before. What are they like to do pushups/gladiator pushups with?
