Commercial gyms amaze me

LA fitness just installed an energy drink (i.e. amp, monster, caffeine laced sugar water) vending machine. brilliant idea, really healthy stuff right there.

And a hospital I once worked in had a McDonald's in the lobby. It's all about the money, even if it's in conflict with the mission.

Re: Commercial gyms amaze me

I've seen hospital staff hanging outside the hospital smoking cigarettes. Does that count?

Which one won out? The added weights or the assisting stack?

I've heard that its not uncommon for doctors to have poor health habits so those guys probably don't care what they put in their bodies.

That said, RIP Herb Peterson, inventor of the Egg McMuffin, arguably the healthiest breakfast choice you can make at a fast food restaurant. Godspeed. I salute thee.

One of the vending machines at the Rec center I work at sells Rock Star energy drinks. I've seen a guy sipping one while doing negative bicep curls on a lat pull-dun machine. I'm sure he had Coldplay set to 11 on his ipod shuffle.

i could see the dumbbell between the thighs was a 25lb'er. i didn't see how many plates were pinned to the assistance stack. i don't think i realized what was goofy about that scene until after i left.
