After tearing gastrocnemius (tennis leg)...

I just partially tore my calf...couple of questions...

After/during rehab, is that muscle more likely to tear in the future??

(I don't plan on downgrading my level of play anytime soon..though the wife says otherwise.)

Doc says 4-6 weeks, but that seems like the standard. Has anyone healed quicker or slower??

1. Yes, reinjuries are more likely to occur than initial rate of injury
2. Strains depend on the extent of the tear
