why no rotation exercises in cf?
why no rotation exercises in cf?
Playing sports and basic functioning require rotation of the torso. In addition I thought that you can generate lots of core strength and power by doing rotational exercises. Any answers? |

Who says there are no rotational exercises in CF?
There are several kettlebell and medicine ball drills requiring rotation - TGUs, figure 8s, Hooverball. You want to do rotational exercises? Knock yourself out. Do a tire toss for distance. Try Virtual Shoveling. Grab a sledge hammer and go to town. |

How about one arm lifts? Over head presses, over head squats, bench, suit case deadlifts, Even one armed lat pull downs. Since you can't load these like the balanced kind, I use them for warm ups. Either that or I use an unstable platform. Go up to about 60-70 % of my max like this, then go into the tradiational version of the exercize for the work sets.
