Eating Enough

I am rather desperate when trying to gain weight, I eat until I feel as though I would vomit upon swallowing. But I will still be a little sore upon getting to the gym on Wednesday and Friday. Am I not eating and sleeping enough.

What do they mean by recover, is being a little sore not recovering.

I sleep 8 hours a day, and literally eat till I can't anymore. I drink the Gallon a Day which is the easy and fun part.

What do you mean by "a little sore?" Some soreness is a normal response to challenging yourself. A lot of soreness could mean that you need to scale back more.

In addition to food and sleep, foam rolling, stretching, and drinking lots of water can all help with recovery.

Sore, but nothing that limits me. It goes upon warming up.

Stay off NSAIDs, do all recommended and contrast showers if you're feeling a masochistic streak. I can't remember who said it, but someone said, "Sleep as much as you can just short of being fired or divorced."
