I was wondering what everyone thinks would be an acceptable substitute for wall balls? My gym only has 10lb med balls.

I did thrusters with 20lb dumbells to replicate the 14KG Wall Balls ... is this somewhat close? More or less weight? A different exercise completely?

20 lb. dumbbell thrusters are the standard sub for wall balls.

However, if you have tall ceilings you can also aim higher (maybe 15 feet) to replicate the effort of a 20lb. wall ball at a 10 foot target.

Not sure how close that would come to replicating actual wallballs but it would be more similar in motion than the thrusters.

what jason said, but also add reps. if the wod calls for 15-12-9 do 21-18-15 instead.

also, there are a few threads on the equipment board on how to make a wall ball with a basketnall, sand&duct tape
