Elbow injury after muscle up
I did a few failed muscle ups today and when the WOD started, I could not finish because I had a pain in my elbow that went up to around my triceps. My arm then felt a bit weak and shaky. My arm feels fine now (1.5 hours later), but this happens almost every time I try muscle ups. Has anyone had experience with this?

Re: Elbow injury after muscle up
Where is the pain?
Google marked pic? Better description? Any other exercises that hurt? |

Re: Elbow injury after muscle up
Its just a form issue. Keep the elbows tucked in tight directly infront of you and close to the body when doing the transition into the dip. I take it that is where you are failing? If you let them flair out this puts too much strain on the outer elbow area.
I would recommend practicing perfect form, elbows in close. Dont go to total fatigue until you have your form spot on. |
