how about this diet plan??

first off, im 22 yrs old, 180lb male, approx 5'10'' (and i eat paleo)

Breakfast- 5-6 whole eggs, cooked in olive oil, 2 large apples, lots of almond butter

meals 2,3,4 and (maybe 5)- 2 large protein sources (ex. 2 pieces fish or chicken or pork etc) and a heap of some sort of vegetables, (for each meal), with one of these meals i will have a handful of macadamian nuts and some sunflower seeds...

snack- usually 2 small apples, and 2 small kiwis (might be combined with a meal though)

pretty much cook everything with olive oil, supplement with fish oils, vitamin D, and magnesium....and i usually eat my last meal around 6:30 at night and dont eat untill about 14 hours later..

o and right now im following CF Football and hitting the wods as hard as possible, with lots of rest... sorry for the lack of puncuation and the such haha

(i eat alot of food)

Thanks in advance

Pretty much resembles my diet. The resident experts will probably ask you what are your goals (strength, lose body fat, etc...) then they may tweak your diet from there.

I found that, that many eggs in the morning made me let some pretty bad ones go that would turn most people green.

To say the least I switched my intake of eggs.

And I thought I ate a lot...

I know this is still controversial but from what I have read it seems like its leaning towards the "don't cook with olive oil" side of the debate.

I cook mostly with coconut oil and use olive oil as a salad dressing or late addition to a sauce so its little to no heat exposure.

Do you really use bacon grease? I'm leaning towards coconut oil myself.

Bacon grease sounds pretty paleo to me. I use it sometimes, but 90% of the time I use coconut oil. Louana brand seems to be a lot cheaper than some other brands, but appears to be the same quality.

Jamie, do you store your bacon grease in the fridge? I just keep it in a cup on my counter and have always wondered if its safe to reuse. Maybe I should start keeping it in the fridge.
