Hockey player turns Crossfitter in Texas

Kevin Kenyon
Male 5'7'' 179lbs
20 years old

Been crossfitting since April 9th, 2009. Started off really strong, and got into the zone approach rapidly and stuck with it. Started going off the beating path the last 3 weeks or so. Time to get back to it.

CFT: Beginning: 775lbs Now:835lbs

5k run: 18:53

Filthy 50's: 19:06.1


Just a few times for background.

Ok here it goes!

Breakfast 7:30 AM
2 eggs 3 bacon
2 cups strawberry
1 apple
12 almonds

Work at 8:30AM will report my snack in 2 hours

1oz ham 1 oz turkey
2 blocks dill pickles

I'm a cook so its hard to not eat the foods however I'm doing well today!

got off work early!

lunch at 1:00 pm

4 ounces turkey
2 blocks cucumber and tomato salad
1 apple
12 almonds

next meal in 3 hours at about 4:15pm
14g of whey protein
2 cups strawberry
6 almonds

then workout at 8:30 pm
doing Mary today
and back squats after

Mary previous = 9 1/3 rounds
Squat = 340 with intense lower back pain..i know i could have dont at least 400 it was on totals when i couldnt get low the pain was so bad...not to sure if it is better now or not

finished yesterday with chicken breast and 2 blocks mushrooms and an apple 12 almonds and then some cookies lol and a 2 block snack

another bad night with food not to sure were i get these hunger pains lol

2 burger with wheat bun
mayo

cookies...and 2 ounces turkey lol

stressing about college stuff...sats...bllahh blahh

Last night game 7 stanley cup playoffs had a few brews and pizza...back to the war path today! feels good eating zone

For time:
50 Wall-ball shots
50 Pull-ups
35 Wall-ball shots
35 Pull-ups
20 Wall-ball shots
20 Pull-ups

Used 45lb oly bar for thrusters

Complete as many rounds in 20 minutes as you can of:
Handstand push-ups 5 reps
Bench press 135 pounds, 10 reps
Push press 95 pounds, 15 reps
Dips 20 reps

4 rounds plus everything and 17 dips 3 shy of 5 rounds

Also did a chest workout this week instead of hang power snatch...my buddy hates powerlifting and i turned him to crossfit...I have to compromise sometime lol
