Rigid style vs Fluid style

Hi,
recently I have been trying to brush up on my kettlebell drills and have noticed a difference in technique. the so-called "rigid style", which is what Pavel demonstrates in his books/videos, and another fluid style where the arm is slightly bent and the head follows the movement.

and then theres what looks to be a combi of both?

so i was wondering, which style is better in terms of conditioning benefits or work output?
