Yes its good to have an affiliate, you will enjoy it for sure and having it planned out for you adds to the excitement.

3 rounds for time:
12 Muscle Ups
75 Squats - 11.44 PR

Muscle ups strong as they have ever been today, 6 consecutive first round and 4 at the start of the other two rounds, much better than 2 days ago when MU's were crap and a 1.45 minute PR!!

Close Grip Bench

70k x 10
80k x 10
90k x 10

Thanks Ernesto, I dont really get any rips no more on the muscle ups except small ones, think the callouses have toughened up!! The squats get tough in the 2nd round so be ready, although the longer they take the quicker you can smash the muscle ups.

Got my Front Squat programme today, 5 x 3 at 105k/231lb. Legs feel really smashed so will be pleased to get all 5 sets.

Great work on the MU workout, I'm glad your MUs were on yesterday. It is always a good feeling to have them going strong.

Those FSs are (or will be) strong. That is almost my one rep max(235).

Ive hit the MU's twice this week now so glad they have come back to full strength thanks Nik, thats all you will have to do is start getting them in regular again and they will soon be back to full power.

Expect big things with the front squats, had a discussion with m.williams and we decided that if you concentrate on front squats and dont do any back squats they seem to develop better due to the movement patterns clashing with each other, so its front squats for the next few months to get firstly 137.5k/300lb and then start trying for 150k/330lb.

Sounds good. I need the FS too. But one thing at a time. Id almost rather the FS to back squats. The volume we are at is getting tough here and there.

I'd like a better FS for cleans alone, let alone all the other benifits it will bring. I know that just a little more volume for me I'd increase.

If you can FS 235lbs 105k for 5 reps. I bet you have a 300pound 136k FS now or really close.

As you are doing Nik, concentrate on your back squat then maybe combine some front squats when you come back to main page.

My current 1rm is 125k/275lb. Im going to do the slow build up this time around rather than keep trying for a new pr then try and smash my pr after about 2 months, hard to not go for it earlier but its the apparent best way.
