You noticed how much more volume I'm on now, this CompTrain paid for masters stuff is hard but good. 40 minute warm ups sometimes.
I've just joined the gym round the corner to work. Got lifting platforms so the barbell work is better. Can't do met-cons that involve multiple movements. Will have to stick to couplets during week.

Haha. Standard Scott comeback! Your training programme looks tougher now. Keep it up. You'll smash the Games

It is tough and I'm doing the stuff I didn't do so much last year, mainly squatting regular and Olympic lifting, feeling stronger this year. Hopefully I can get on the tv a bit more this year

Re: A Bears Tale

21 May 2016

Clean & Jerk EMOM 10

102
104
104
106
106
106
106
106
106
109 -

Felt good today. Get tall on the jerk and quick elbows on the clean are my best cues to myself.

Front Squats 1 1/4

80 x 2
90 x 2
100k x 2
100 x 2
100 x 2

Knees always hurt after jerking, not squatting its definately the jerk so went easy on the front squats.

15 min EMOM:

A: 7 Power Cleans 61k
B: 15 Walls Balls
C: Max Cals row - 26/23/23/22/27

Thanks Alex, yes I read it, been very busy, I see what you've done with the listings of my competitions, although you seem very resourceful, I am shocked you couldn't find my open finish in 2014 My business parter who does the website was away for the weekend so not suggested the neatening up of the listings yet.

It's going well. My shoulder is still a pain, strained suprasinittus (prob spelt wrong), But it's not stopping me doing anything, snatching and muscle ups niggle it but then it doesn't get worse so I'm pushing on. Last year I did not squat or do anything that hurt me before the games as I was so afraid of being injured and not being able to compete, this year I'm training ful on for it, not saying I'm being stupid I just know if I am going to be in with a shot I have to train VERY hard. 3 hours yesterday, so lucky I don't have a 9-5 job anymore as this amount of training would of been impossible last year.

Re: A Bears Tale

23 May 2016

EMOM 7 Snatch Balance - 40k

EMOM 10 Squat Snatch - 68k - missed 4th and 10th. Redone 10th

Snatch Pulls - 5 x 2 100k

Back Squat - 110k x 7 for 4 sets

8 min EMOM: 20 seconds work 40 rest

Toes to bar - 14/14/14/14
Bar Muscle ups - 3/3/3/3

Kept losing tape on my hands for the BMU so went easy. Will smash that when it's repeated next week.

For time:

20 C2B
30 Push ups
40 Sit ups
50 Air Squats
30 Power Snatch 61k
20 C2B
30 Push ups
40 Sit ups
50 Air Squats - 18.28

Was done by now, 2.5 hours training before this metcon.
