Re: Pre workout supplements?

I've been using Xtend by Scivation for the past couple weeks with nice results.
Helps me maintain a good level of effort for everything I've used it for. No crash or jitters.

Re: Pre workout supplements?

I liked Gaspari Super Drive, but also added a scoop of creatine (5 grams) at some point during the day because it didn't have any. Now I am using X-Trainer by MHP it has 5 grams of creatine and 3.5 grams of Beta Alanine.

Re: Pre workout supplements?

I wouldn't call it pre-workout, but I started using beta alanine recently and I can really tell a huge difference. Now instead of that really uncomfortable muscle burn, I just work until failure with no burn. I think that it's helped me squeeze out a few extra reps before I have to rest, I'm not 100% sure on that, but the lack of muscle burn is very apparent.

Re: Pre workout supplements?

BPI "Pump HD" is the way to go. Add 5 grams of Con-Crete and your set!

from experience, I'm not sure I'd go with something geared for pumps, I'd rather go for something with endurance/energy benefits before getting so pumped it makes workouts hard to complete...

Oh, the ignorance! Pump HD is a complete PWO sup. It gives endurance and energy, plus pumps.

I've seen the profile and ingredients...you're not getting crap from it, besides maybe the 2g creatine mono, definitely overpriced for the profile/ingredient amounts. Ignorance? Seems you've jumped onboard and been fooled by their marketing.

On a side note...About Time's AUX has a great formula and proper amounts, great stuff as well!!

Not if I put 5 grams of creatine mono in it! Anyway, you are right. I've had a change of heart regarding supps. All I take now is creatine. Seriously. I don't take a whey supp. any more. I just drink 2-3 glasses of whole milk w/ chocolate syrup. I have a thermos that I fill up and throw in my gym bag.
