Thanks, but unfortunately, I can't take credit for it. I believe, it's a long time expression from the twidget (electronics) side of the Navy. My Dad said he picked it up when he was in the Navy as an ET in the early 1960s, and used to darn near get fired from Electric Boat in the early 80s. I didn't hear it except from him until I hung out with twidget types while I was in, but it's just so cool so I stole it.
