I had got into Crossfit a couple years ago and was really enjoying it. Got myself into pretty decent shape and was still improving lifts. Then, I tore my hamstring...grade 3
Anyways, that pretty much put me out of commission for a couple months and being a garage gym'er I had a hard time motivating myself to get out there.
Fast forward a couple years and I'm finally getting back at it. Joined a new gym in town owned by a couple that started the first crossfit affiliate in my area quite a while ago. They had moved back to Cali for a couple years and are now back with a new gym. It's frustrating looking at how far out of shape I've fallen but I'm hoping it will come back pretty quick. I think the motivation of a class and coach will help keep me on track. And if any injury should happen hopefully encourage me not to step away for such an extended period again.
