This time of year, the locals run around the woods looking for Morel mushrooms. Their selling them for twenty bucks per pound:

Anybody know of any nutritional value? Most folks around here prefer them breaded and deep fried. I just sautee them in butter. Absolutely delicious!

BIG mushroom eater here..Prefered type is portobello. Nice big meaty taste!

Interesting looking 'shroom. Though, I'd be concerned about eating anything that grows so close to a pair of well used Chuck Taylors!

Thanks Alex. Nice sites. Since the Morel mushroom isn't specifically listed, can I assume that all mushrooms are relatively the same, as far as nutritional value?

Ron, you oughta see what grows inside them CT's after they get wet and sit on the porch a couple days! That's why I run them hills so fast. I'm running from horny skunks.:crazy:
