If people don't have access to a rack on the day of the CF Total what would they sub the press and back squat for?

It's quite rare that I have access to a rack as i've not been able to buy one yet and the gym I would be able to use aint all to friendly to the way we train. I was thinking trying to clean the bar then press it but then ofcourse its not a true measure of MP absolute strength.

Has anybody else had this problem? if so let me know what you do to get round it.

Leon, def clean the bar for the press - the difference is negligible if you have decent form and the clean should be fairly comfortable. For back squat I sub front squat and once again clean it from the floor.

It's hard work and you will probably be limited by your clean - but you will get stronger if you have to be the squat rack.

Just out of curiousity, what kind of sick gym do you go to where you can't do deads, presses and squats? I mean, my gym doesn't have a climbing rope or kettlebells, but at least they do have barbells and plates...
