Creatine

I'm sure this question has been asked many times but I'm new to cf and would like to know your thoughts.....

I've taken celltech creatine in the past with great results. I'd like to do this natural and stopped the creatine about a month ago.

Do you take creatine?

If so why or why not?

If you take something else, what is it and why do you like it?

Thank you for any feedback. Joe

Re: Creatine

Joseph: Welcome to CrossFit!

You're certainly right . . . the question has been asked and discussed many, many times before. Strongly urge you to use the search function and then see what you get.

No objection to having folks answer you . . . lots of new folks with (possibly) new experiences to report. But it has been discussed . . . oh .. . maybe a hundred or so times already.

Bottom line: some folks like it, some don't. It seems to "work" for almost all, even for the folks who don't like it. Those who don't (me included) tend to experience it as "bloating" or "water weight" that vanishes (along with any extra strength provided) when we quit. Those who do like it usually take it in relatively small doses (2 gms / day or less) over a long period of time.

Re: Creatine

Works for some, doesn't work for some.

My opinion on this matter is this: fix your diet, workout and sleep schedule first before going to supplements to try to increase your performance.

This is besides good stuff that everyone should be taking like fish oil.
