WODs per week??

I just started crossfit however i have been weight lifting for quite some time. I only do crossfit M W F and most saturdays. Is that enough to see serious results or should i throw in some a workout or two during the off days for extra work?

It all depends on your goals. Strength, endurance, weight loss....? And it depends on what WODs you are doing. Give us some stats and/or goals and examples of you training to better assist you.
There are tons of knowledgeable folks on this board.

Im really trying to gain some lean muscle. Im not out of shape exactly but i just dont look real "firm". I needed a change from my split bodybuilding style workouts and crossit seemed the way to go. Every crossfit athlete i say seemed to be in tip top shape.

Diet man. That's the biggest factor. Lean out basically.

Re: WODs per week??

When I started crossfiting 6 months ago I was 210lbs and did little to no exercise for a few years prior. for the first 4 months i was a 3 day a week guy and I without a doubt saw results. Within the last 2 months I've gone to 4 and sometimes 5 days per week since I felt my body was ready for the added work. It's entirely up to you, just listen to your body
