Manchester, NH

Hey guys,

My brother's moving down to Manchester from Burlington, and he's been looking for a Crossfit gym in the area. Now, I know CFNH is dead, but I seemed to remember that there was a group who was meeting up nearby? Is this still happening?

There's a decent-looking S&C gym opening in Nashua, but that'd be about an hour drive from where he's going to be living, and...well, it's not Crossfit, though I'm sure it's very good. Anyway, thanks for the help.

Best,
Jacob

Re: Manchester, NH

Here's the last page of the active NH thread. A few of us train in Manchester. We don't have another park workout set up yet, but keep an eye out on the below link.

What S&C gym are you referring to?

Thanks for the link, Melissa.

My brother sent me a link to:
http://www.dynamicsc.com/about.html (w/f/s)

Again, I know he'd be thrilled if he could get to a Crossfit gym, but I think what he wants (and needs) most of all is any sort of group to keep him motivated, and this place at least doesn't sound like your typical big-box.

Interesting. I wish I had a dollar for every time this guy uses the word "functional" on his web site. I'd be able to open my own affiliate. He's got some good ideas, and I like that he's kettlebell-friendly, but they don't move weight. KBs, MBs, yes, but no barbells, DBs, sandbags, sleds... nothing heavy. (He says "resistance" a lot.) And certainly no Oly stuff.

Might be worth it for your brother to check it out, Nashua is only 20 minutes south of Manchester. And FWIW, Gold's in Manch is as CrossFit-friendly as a Globo can get.
