I just saw this web site today. I couldn't believe it. I suppose it is a good thing cause the kettlebell work will be valuable to people who can't yet handle the regular kettlebells. But did they have to go and make them "cute"?

Actually, now that I think about it, I might get the small one for Sam. He keeps wanting to play with the ones at HQ but the smallest one is just a few pounds less than his total body weight!

Beth,
John Baumann of Gill Athletic has a CrossFit discount, and WAY better prices on tiny little kb's: (big ones, too...) http://www.gillathletics.com/gillIte...rch=kettlebell - and best of all, they're MANLY-lookin'!

Wow Gill has really good prices. No wonder they are sold out on many popular sizes.

Yeah. I wondered why there wasn't pink to go with the little pink dumbbells. Whatever. If I buy small ones for Sam, I will go with Gill. I always go for crossfit folks before others.

Lynn,
Are PowerMax KBs identical to the Dragon Door ones? If not, how do they compare? Has anyone used both brands, and if yes, which do you prefer? Or it doesn't even matter when it comes to KBs? See, the 1.5 pooder is on my shopping list, and I want to make the right purchase, especially since they are so expensive.

I have been looking for reasonably priced kettlebells. How much is the CrossFit discount?

After seeing those "Ken & Barbie" color coded kettle bells I am seriously contemplating jerking the wheel and driving myself into a concrete bridge abuttment!
