This is the pre combat training prep guide. They seem to be emphasizing injury avoidance, basic and functional strength, core and mobility.

Has some interesting exercises I haven't seen elsewhere, some of them geared to condition you for

These links will not aid in the preparation for ANY SW/SO (or even FMF/EXW) school IMO. They are not for that at all.

I mostly agree. I think they are geared for training after you have made the cut.
Still, it's interesting.

If you look toward the end you will see a 10 week training plan
that might be a useful template to follow, certainly for someone
who can already make the cut IMO.

Actually people on an IA are in no way comparable to people in a specialized unit. This is geared toward taking a Sailor who is suitable for sea duty and making them suitable for the limited ground roles that they have. These folks have not "made the cut" in that sense. Their names got pulled out of a hat, effectively.
