Re: 30 day: burpee to pull up challenge (+2 a day)

today (10) + previous (20) = total (30)

still kind of feels like part of the warm up at 10. it gets my heart rate up but i haven't hit the wall yet. i bet when it gets up into 20's it will start to slow down for me.

i am finding with thischallenge and with other workouts that my rythm is so important. too fast and my breathing gets off and i am gassed. too slow and its like my body is not as efficient and the movement is actually more difficult. if i keep a nice pace i am most efficient.

Re: 30 day: burpee to pull up challenge (+2 a day)

Ted, I haven't been in places where I could do the pull-up portion of these often enough to stay on track, unfortunately. I can do burpees at work, or whatever, but I have to go in to the gym in order to add the pull-ups, which has complicated things somewhat. I did do 40-something burpee+20# med ball thrusters on Saturday, would that count as an equivalency?

I'm going to let it build to 100 and then just do G.I. Jane. Then I should be back on track.

i remember not having a pull up bar. i bought a free standing pull up/ dip station and i am really happy with it.

that is up to you if your subs are ok. the challenge to me is a personal thing. so if you feel you put the effort forth then it's all good over here.

where did you find a #20 MB? i have looked all over. i was actually in murietta yesterday.

i like that thinking. it might be easier on the body that way. no overuse.
