Hi,

100 Burpees for time is something that i have put my circuit training class through a couple of times as a starter.

Wondering if anyone else has timed themselves for this as i'd love to hear some sick times!

Yesterday's effort for me was (full burpees) 6.34, i know many people here will trash this.

Ryan Atkins came up with a workout called "Pukie Brewster" which is 150 burpees for time. No info on times for that one.

"G.I. Jane" is another workout, and that is 100 burpees + pullup (after each burpee, jump to a pullup bar and do a pullup).

The thread linked has a few people's times on Jane.

I've also seen mentioned a "Prisoner's Workout", which is 20 burpees, walk across the "exercise yard" and then do 19 burpees, walk back and 18 burpees, and on down to 1.

We did 100 burpees as a WOD once, and I do them occasionally when on the road. I always do 20 burpees as part of my warmup.

I had one of my P.T girls do 100 burpees and 100 wall ball in 17:37

Connor and I used to do the 20=>1 Burpee workout. Our best time was around 13 minutes. Another good one is 20 burpees, 1 pull up, 19 burpees, 2 pull ups etc....

Wow!
150 burpees, or 100 plus the pull ups are both evil.

I don't get on a rower much, but was wondering about a burpee / rower combo. How about 25 burpees followed by row 250m, 3x through? I'd suggest higher numbers but this sounds like a reasonable start.

Jeff that sounds great. And great time.

Thats 210 burpees if my quick add up is correct.

I think we did a WOD that had rowing and burpees in it. If I remember correctly it ended with a face plant. Not even enough energy left to roll over.
