40 minutes on lunch.

neck harness: 25x50,50
cable neck flexion: 50x50, 80x30

First press reps cleaned into position. Kept two minutes of rest for the pressing, under 40 minutes total again on lunch.

Sumo: (385x4)x6

Half hour total on lunch.

14Nov13
Bench: 225x2,2,2,6
Pull-ups: 65x4,4,4,5

No time. Paused all bench doubles.

16Nov13
Squat: (315x5)x6

Under 40 minutes to warm up and finish all sets. Lower back feels a little off. Another AM work out, so no surprise I'm stiff. Wore a belt and all the sets flew up.

Swiss bench: (220x6)x6
Chins: (65x2)x6

18Nov13
Squat: 315x2, 335x2, 355x2, 365x2, 315x6
calf raises: 495x10,10,10,10,10

All squat doubles were stupid fast and strung together one-two. 365 started to slow a bit so I backed it off.

press: (185x3)x8

Two minutes rest. Half hour total, in-and-out. I felt like a beast after set three, then **** got heavy quick at set six.

Sumo: 385x6,6,6,6,12

Got bored and did my last two sets together as one. Easy 12. I did 385x12 from a 4" dedicit a few years ago but never after that much volume, and never this easily. Also, i took several days off to let my shoulder rest after an angry sink plunging session that put me very close to tendinitis territory. I felt very well rested today. Ill still get all my heavy work for the week done, except on the bench. Super low back pump.

28Nov13 Happy Thanksgiving!
Press: (190x3)x8
Swiss bar bench: 240x5,5,5,5,3

AM workout. 400mg caffeine and two ibuprofen for breakfast, otherwise fasted. Nothing like some obnoxiously loud White Zombie at 8 am to get your neighbors ready for Thanksgiving! It was 28 degrees in the garage and I don't think the damn barbells ever got warmer than that.

While I failed the last set of bench, 13 working sets in 30 minutes is fine by me. Volume PR at 190 for the press. None of the bench reps were challenging, I just ran out of steam. 45 minutes total.

This was supposed to be last Friday's work but I essentially took last week off for the holidays. Very early (for me) AM workout at 6:30. Lots of slow eccentrics though they all went up quickly, no grinding.

Someone keeps stealing the caribiners off the dipping belts at my lunch gym so I spent the first half hour of my workout trying to sort that out and had no time left to exercise.

Unintentionally took four days off. All the weight I'm gaining lately is starting to pay off though. With all the tension I've got in the hole now, 315 feels like a pressurized air squat.

My son hasn't been sleeping the passed few nights so neither have I. If I'd taken fewer days off last week, I'd have skipped today. I'm glad I got in though. It took everything I had to get in there today, but I always feel better afterwards.

machine pull-overs: 185x15

Neutral grip chins with straps. I haven't done that much volume in back work for a while and left looking like a shaved ape. Good times.
