Workout of the Day Questions & performance regarding CrossFit's WOD

Should I make a goal of all timed WODs to be around 20 minutes? For instance, todays WOD of 21-18-15-12-9-6-3 reps of Bench and pullups. This would take me forever with BW Bench, but by lowering the weight I can get done in around 20 minutes. Since other metcons are limited to 20 minutes I thought it might be appropriate to decrease or increase each timed WODs weights so that I am aiming for 20 minutes each time? Does this make sense?

There is a very similar thread being discussed in the "Fitness" section. A lot of people seem to agree with your idea of establishing a 20 minute "goal time" (I'm fond of quotation marks and parenthesis) although, not unexpectedly, there are some good dissenting opinions.
