soy pasta

Has anybody ever tried this? I saw it at whole foods last night, it is 'pasta' angel hair style, but made entirely of soybeans. I was wondering how it would measure up in terms of taste when compared with regular pasta.

I don't eat pasta myself but my husband loves it

Re: soy pasta

Great stuff if your husband wants to get closer to his feminine side. Can he fill out a Halter Top pretty well, if not, by all means, increase his Soy intake.
Please post a before and after pic.

Re: soy pasta

Laura,
You won't find too many fans of unfermented soy products here.

There's lots of negatives to excessive soy intake, I'd personally avoid any soy that isn't cultured/fermented.

Re: soy pasta

oh ok.. the soy pasta is out

I guess I will just keep doing what I do now.. whole wheat pasta but small amounts only, and not too often. If I make him pasta I usually fill it up with extra veggies and just use half a serving of pasta.

oh no, i guess this means i shouldn't be giving him Trader Joes veggie sausage patties for breakfast! darn!

Re: soy pasta

Laura, you'd probably be better off not giving yourself those soy frankenfoods either.
