Music used for WOD demos

I asked this some time ago, but was unable to find an answer so I'm going to give it another go

Does anyone know who the artist/group playing in the Tuesday 110920 WOD titled: From the Vault: WOD Demo with Brendan Gilliam - video. There are two demos for that day, but this particular WOD is playing rap music.

If the Discussion Board is unable to come up with an answer, is there a way to ask Brenden Gilliam or Pukie? I'm not sure who adds the music to WOD demos.

Also, I've noticed there is a lot of great music on the WOD demos. Is there a way to list that when it is posted?

If you have an Android or iOS device you can get the Shazam app (Google it). It can listen to music that is being played and figure out what it is. I think there are other apps out there like it too.

Thanks Anthony. I did try to identify the song using those type apps, but it was unsuccesful.

I tried giving Google some of the lyrics and it didn't have any luck either. Sorry, I guess you probably will have to find someone who worked on the video.

Yeah, I especially like the music in Rob Orlando's Thruster 3-3-3-3-3 video from some time back. I extracted the audio from the video via one of those youtube tools. I used it sometimes to psyche myself out for a lift. His scream midway through when he misses also adds to it.

Thank god they changed the song. The song accompanying that particular video USED to be Too Short's "Shake That Monkey".

Too Short is probably one of the most perverted rappers out there (trust me, I was breast-fed on rap).. where the hell was the WFS indication then!??!! lol..

One of my favorite songs currently was discovered years ago the same way.
Skid Row's "Slave to the Grind".

Though I had heard of them, I wasn't much of a skid row fan at the time... But I typed in some of the lyrics and now, 3/4 years later it's my ringtone!

There's also a video out there of two guys doing fran (w/pullups done in a high squat rack) they used the song "Jolene" but only the Fran vid of Annie Sakamoto, they used the White Stripes cover which is a bit more down tempo but oh man, it just went w/it sooo nicely.

Well, I don't think I've liked more than one or two of his songs. Every other line is about fellatio lol.
